Bohdan Zatula joined the team of Novyny.LIVE in May 2024 and covered events in his native Kharkiv.

On July 31, Bohdan was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces. He was killed during heavy artillery shelling on August 26. He was buried on Slavy Alley in Kharkiv.

“Our colleague was a talented and hardworking journalist. He knew what the city was like, he always filmed the consequences of the invaders’ attacks, recording the crimes of the russian army. Bohdan is remembered as kind and sociable, he never refused to help,” the publication writes.

We express our sincere condolences to the family. Eternal memory of a colleague.
