The RIA Pivden publication was among 16 Ukrainian newsrooms to receive financial assistance from the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) and the Ukrainian Media Fund Nordic for the purchase of portable charging stations. EcoFlow has arrived at the newsroom the other day.
“For some, it’s just equipment. For the newsroom, which was forced to leave occupied Melitopol and continues to work in frontline Zaporizhzhia, it’s an opportunity to stay in touch, quickly publish news, edit videos, record interviews, and work even during blackouts,” the newsroom emphasizes. “In 2022, the occupiers took all the equipment out of the newsroom. We had to start working from scratch — using equipment donated by friends and caring people. Later, thanks to the support of donors, the newsroom was able to purchase computers, cameras, and other necessary equipment.”
RIA Pivden emphasizes that today EcoFlow is no longer a luxury, but a vital necessity for any media outlet in wartime. Because without light, it is impossible to quickly and continuously inform people. And they sincerely thank NUJU and Ukrainian Media Fund Nordic for their support, trust, and solidarity.
