The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), in partnership with IBC Legal Service, invites journalists to participate in the conference titled Actual Issues Related To On Media Law: Practical Advice, Media Registration, Journalists’ Rights.
The conference will be held in Kyiv on Tuesday, July 4.
The participants in the event will learn about the algorithm of actions related to the implementation of the law and be able to ask professional lawyers their questions. Expert advice will help you avoid mistakes and possible sanctions for violating the law.

Danil Serbin is an assistant at the legal hotline of the Journalists’ Solidarity Centers network and a lawyer at IBC Legal Services.
During the conference, the participants will learn about the following novelties of the law:
- procedure for registering an entity in the media sphere;
- primary responsibilities of the subject in the field of media;
- liability for violation of legislation;
- co-regulation;
- new requirements for the activities of print and online media;
- activities of audiovisual media under the new law.
