For the reason of cooperation intensification, Karol Łuczka, an employee of the International Press Institute (IPI) for monitoring and protecting the rights of journalists in Eastern Europe, visited the Kyiv Journalists’ Solidarity Center (JSC).

During the meeting with the leadership of the NUJU, they discussed the issues of freedom of speech, Russian war crimes against journalists, as well as opportunities for improving the working conditions of the media, especially in the de-occupied and front-line territories.

They agreed on constructive communication and dissemination of useful information from the donor organization through the Union’s resources.

The representative of the donor organization emphasized that IPI has the resources to support mass media in Ukraine and emphasized the need for regional media to submit grant applications.

We will provide the list of opportunities from IPI on this channel.
