A well-known journalist from Dnipro, Andrii Nikitin, has been killed. His sister Tetiana Latai wrote this on her Facebook page, according to Nashe Misto.

A few days ago, Andrii’s sister reported his disappearance – on December 12, he left his parents’ house in Bashmachka, leaving his belongings and phone behind. After that, he never returned. Relatives and friends organized a search. However, today, it became known that the man had been killed.

Currently, the circumstances of the tragedy are unknown; an investigation is underway.

Andrii Nikitin worked in Dnipro media for many years, in particular, at the Vidkrytyi TV channel and in the Nashe Misto media holding in author’s projects. In the summer of 2024, he joined the 233rd separate battalion of the Dnipro territorial defense.

The death of Andrii Nikitin is a huge loss for everyone who knew him and worked with him.

We express our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace.
