Journalist and poet Myroslav Kulyk has been killed in the war, his brother Taras Kulyk reported.
On November 25, 2024, a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, poet, and screenwriter originally from Lutsk Myroslav Kulyk was killed in battles with russian occupiers near Avdiyivka in the Donetsk Region.
Myroslav Kulyk, who did not live to see his 57th birthday by a few days, was not only a talented media person but also an active public figure – he participated in the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity. He wrote poems, prose, and scripts. In recent years, he lived in Romanivka in the Kyiv Region. In the first days of the full-scale war, together with his brother Taras, he went to serve – first in the air defense, then became a machine gunner in the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.
