Volodymyr Fitio, one of the experienced spokespersons of the Ground Forces Command of Ukraine, has received a special award, Press Officers Are Important, from the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU). The award was introduced this year.

The NUJU team has been working with a reputable press officer for a long time. In particular, I recorded an interview with him and talked about the work of Volodymyr Fitio in the film Press Officers Are Important on the occasion of Military Journalist Day.

The award was presented by the President of the NUJU, Sergiy Tomilenko, who noted that the Union wants to honor those who work in uniform, help journalists, and protect them.

“Today’s journalism is extremely important because the main goal of both citizen and military journalists is to fight for the minds and hearts of our citizens. This is our joint work. Only together will we win our Victory!” stressed Volodymyr Fitio.

The award was presented at the opening ceremony of the exhibition I Am From A Family Of Journalists at the Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University.
