The meeting, which took place at the Zaporizhzhia Journalists’ Solidarity Center (JSC), had a symbolic name of Spring. Women. Invincibility.
The meeting was opened with a story about female journalists who, in this time of war, prepare materials from the front-line territories, from the line that passes near the front, from the places of shelling… Dedication to work, courage, and love are the driving force that keeps them going and gives them strength and faith. Their eyes are looking at us from the photos of the photo exhibition Zaporizhzhia Journalists At War presented at the JSC.
Olha Zvonariyova, Kateryna Klochko, Dariya Zyrianova, Olena Kaptiukh, Yuliya Barysheva, Hanna Lohvynenko, Yevheniya Nazarova, Svitlana Karpenko, Inna Hohoi, Svitlana Zalizetska, Yeva Myronova… At the risk of their lives, they fulfill their professional duty, tell the truth about the war about our heroic soldiers, and document the war crimes of the ruscists [russian invaders].
They also mentioned our tireless female volunteers Olena Shevchuk, Nadiya Moroz, Bohdana Shevchenko, Inesa Atamanchuk, and others… Our courageous, brave, and gentle female journalists and volunteers, whom we are proud of, whom we support, and together with whom we hold the information front …
The meeting continued with guitar songs performed by the author, the administrator of our site, Ihor Samoilenko, and beautiful dances performed by our colleague Tetiana Ispandiarova. She just returned from the European Oriental Dance Championship and brought home gold medals in four categories. She showed her colleagues not only two oriental dances but also two original productions of Ukrainian songs. She had to perform the last one as an encore; it impressed the audience so beautifully and perfectly that the Ukrainian sorceress conjured a victory for Ukraine.
Another highlight of the holiday was the presentation and tasting of Ukrainian dishes prepared by the participants of the meeting. They also presented homemade Ukrainian dishes. Everyone received satisfaction and prizes.
