With the assistance of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), a humanitarian cargo – food kits – was delivered to the Zaporizhzhia regional organization of the NUJU.

The organizer and sender of the assistance is well known in Ukraine for its charity work. Notable boxes with branded sticker, made in national colors, have been provided by the Ukrainian Federation of Food Banks (UFFP). The Federation is the flagship of food banking in Ukraine unites and coordinates the work of food banks in different regions.

As the organizers of the charity fund note, their main goal is to feed as many as possible Ukrainians, who, as a result of difficult life circumstances, military operations, and other crises, suffer from a lack of the most basic human need – food. And they successfully fulfill this noble mission. The UFFP regularly delivers very decent food packages to veterans, large families, and people who find themselves in a difficult situation – they lost their jobs, got sick, or lost their homes during shelling and bombings…

Over the period of its existence – practically since the beginning of the war, the UFFP has issued more than 112,500 food kits. Almost 428,000 Ukrainians have received them! Such assistance not only supports people financially, it means much more. After all, it is so important in these difficult times to feel that you have not been forgotten, not abandoned, that Ukrainians stick together, they are generous with warmth and kindness – and this is their strength and indomitability; they choose victory together.

Zaporizhzhia media veterans and displaced journalists will receive food packages from the NUJU in the regional organization of the NUJU.

Call the Zaporizhzhia JSC at 096 277 5352 (Nataliya Kuzmenko and Valentyna Manzhura, the coordinators of the Zaporizhzhia JSC). The Center’s address is 152 Sobornyi Avenue.
