NUJU signed a document calling for long-term support of Ukrainian media and journalists

The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) is among the signatories of the document titled Long-Term Financial Support For Ukrainian Media And Journalists, which was made public on Tuesday.

The document, initiated by the Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD) coalition, contains a call to international donors and the Ukrainian government about the need for long-term support programs for Ukrainian media.

The NUJU participated in the preparation of the text of the document, and the First Secretary of the NUJU, Lina Kushch, participated in the discussion together with representatives of international organizations.

In particular, the document emphasizes the importance of supporting local media in Ukraine.
