Media worker Oleksandr Klymenko killed at war

Oleksandr Klymenko worked as a cameraman and editing director on the Misto and Tsentralnyi TV channels in Poltava. His last place of work was Poltava State Medical University in the department of technical training aids.

He joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in October 2023, served as a signalman. In mid-2024, Oleksandr did not return from a combat mission.

On April 30, 2026, a DNA examination identified Oleksandr‘s body among the returned fallen soldiers.

Oleksandr Klymenko became the 119th media worker who was killed in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
