The dormitory where journalism students at Grinchenko University live was seriously damaged by the massive Russian shelling of Kyiv on the night of June 17.

Most of the rooms now have no windows, and in some places, the window frames are completely broken. Yesterday morning, everything was covered in glass: the yard, the rooms, and our clothes.

According to one of the students, the destruction was caused by the blast wave. Most of them were in shelters, but some remained in their rooms. Fortunately, no one was injured.

“Now everyone has been completely evicted. The building has been declared unsafe. Some have gone home, most are moving to another dormitory,” he added.
