In the Donetsk Region, the head of the communications department of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, Edelweiss, journalist Bohdan Fliunt, has been injured.

However, seven hours after the incident, he joined social networks, noting that this was the first injury since the start of the full-scale war with the russian federation. Bohdan emphasizes that by sharing photos, he is trying to attract attention.

“War cannot pass by. Sooner or later, it catches up with everyone, in one form or another. And this does not mean that we should run away from it or renounce it, because each of us has automatically become its participant. Our only option is to continue the fight, despite any difficulties, because evil must be punished. I want to remind you with this post: it continues here and now,” the military man and journalist writes.

According to Bohdan Fliunt, doctors predict that everything will be fine. Despite the experiences, he does not lose optimism. He calls on Ukrainians to support their comrades and all those who serve.

“Support the people who serve. Donate, join the gathering, because every contribution to our struggle is important. Do not be indifferent – indifference is very expensive,” he emphasizes.

According to a source of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), Bohdan Fliunt was injured as a result of an attack by a russian kamikaze drone of the Shahed type.

Bohdan Fliunt is a graduate of the Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

His posts on social networks convey the atmosphere of front-line life: difficulties, dangers and at the same time – incredible team spirit and the ability to support each other in the most difficult moments, reminding us that unity and solidarity are of crucial importance.

The 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, Edelweiss, has been involved in combat operations since 2015 and specializes in complex operations in mountainous and flat terrain. The unit is distinguished by high discipline and team spirit, which, according to Bohdan Fliunt, allows the fighters to hold their own in any situation.
