The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting recommends that TV channels and radio stations review their broadcast schedules during the days of mourning and make appropriate changes, removing entertainment programs from the air.

November 19-21 declared days of mourning in Ternopil – in memory of the victims of the massive enemy attack on the city on the night of November 19. This was reported by the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting with reference to the Ternopil City Council.

As a result of enemy shelling in the Ternopil Region, 25 people, including three children, were killed (data is being updated). There are also 73 victims, including 15 children, according to the message of the Main Department of the State Emergency Situations Service (SESS) in the Ternopil Region.

As a reminder, in Ternopil, missiles and UAVs hit two residential buildings and damaged an industrial facility.

Investigative and operational teams are working at the scene, and firefighting is ongoing. Assistance headquarters have been deployed at Ternopil schools 22 and 27, which are located near the sites of the russian attack. At these points, residents who suffered the consequences of the shelling can receive comprehensive support.

During the days of mourning in the Ternopil city territorial community, state flags will be lowered at all state institutions as a sign of mourning for the deceased, and entertainment events will be canceled.

The regulator recommends that TV and radio stations review their broadcast schedules during the days of mourning and make appropriate changes, removing entertainment programs from the air.

In these days of mourning, the National Council expresses its sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased. Wishing the injured and those affected a speedy recovery and rehabilitation.

We remember. We mourn…
