Photojournalist Ihor Konstantyniuk, who mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the beginning of this summer, was injured during the fighting on the Lyman Axis.

“Yes, I’m not on vacation – I’m in the army. As part of the 60th Inhulets Brigade, I, an ordinary infantryman, participated in combat operations on the Lyman Axis. Now, wounded, I’m moving to Kharkiv for treatment. A fragment cut my shoulder, a self-tapping screw was pulled out of my hands, the membrane in my ear was damaged… Well, it could have been worse,” Ihor wrote on his Facebook page.

The journalist thanked for the support and added that, despite the injuries, “I’m still alive – thanking God and your prayers.”

He also added that he plans to make a chip for board games from a self-tapping screw.
