The terrible truth of Russian military aggression in Ukraine, discovered by the famous English photojournalist Mark Neville, was embodied in a book published by the publishing house Zhurfond of the Dnipropetrovsk regional organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU).

War Through The Lens Of Mark Neville is the first book by a foreign author in the series of Lightning books.

As part of the Zhurfond project launched in April 2022, a number of relevant books about the daily exploits of Ukrainian soldiers and volunteers were published. But the new edition is special.

“The master of the lens does a lot to draw the attention of the international community to Ukraine. In most of his photos, the subjects and faces of Ukrainian fighters, volunteers, civilians, children, who on the battlefields of the tragic events of the war demonstrate invincibility and faith in victory,” says Oleksandr Davydov, the director of Zhurfond.

According to him, the next Lightning book is currently being prepared for publication. It will include journalistic materials submitted for participation in the creative contest of the Dnipropetrovsk regional organization of the NUJU called Best Journalistic Work on Military and Patriotic Topics named after Rem Suvorov.
