The President of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), Sergiy Tomilenko, congratulated Ukrainian media workers on their professional holiday.

“Today, November 15, we celebrate, in fact, the second Journalist’s Day because every journalist, no matter where he works, prepares and publishes video content… In times of war, every journalist in Ukraine is a voice in defense of justice!” Sergiy Tomilenko stressed.

The video greeting was recorded by the President of NUJU during a working visit to the office of the authoritative organization Free Press Unlimited in Amsterdam. She was the first to support Ukrainian journalists after the russian invasion in 2022 and continues to help the frontline media of Ukraine.

According to the President of the Union, colleagues from Free Press Unlimited are “moved and shocked by the stories of our media workers.” They are ready to continue helping Ukrainian colleagues.

The NUJU calls to support those who take risks every day for the sake of truth and believes that the slogan Journalists Are Important will soon be heard in a free and peaceful Ukraine.
