As part of the Partnership for Victory project, a seriously ill 17-year-old patient of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, who has been undergoing treatment for more than half a year and has a complex oncohematological diagnosis, has been sent to Italy for treatment. The pediatric clinic of the city of Turin responded to take the patient under its care and provide all kinds of medical assistance free of charge.
Help for seriously ill children is possible within the framework of the partnership of the Ivano-Frankivsk Journalists’ Solidarity Center (JSC) of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) with the Department of Information of the Ivano-Frankivsk Archdiocese of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, and thanks to the help and support of volunteers from the Anteas Alessandria association, the communities of the UGCC of the cities of Turin and Ancona (Italy). It is very good that we have such a project. We thank our partners who always respond to requests for help in order to save children’s lives,” said Alla Ivanenko, the head of the Department of Oncohematology and Chemotherapy of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital.
