The technical assistance of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) is possible thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany in partnership with the Academy of Ukrainian Press.

“The support will allow you to continue your journalistic activities under more or less safe conditions. We wish you to use this device to write news about the victory,” said Lina Kushch, the First Secretary of the NUJU, during the presentation.

“Previosly the Vpered newspaper was published on 32 pages. Now, unfortunately, it has lost its “weight” a little. But I believe that eventually it will have more than 32 pages, it will become a magazine,” she added.

One year ago the Union helped to restore the publication of the newspaper Vpered and to receive donor support for the next issues. Today several thousand people live in Bakhmut. The newspaper, that delivered by the military, remains the only source of information for them.
