Overnight into July 10, a russian missile hit the office of Channel 5. The studio, equipment, and workplaces were destroyed. Broadcasting on air and YouTube was temporarily suspended.

“All employees who were in the premises during the attack were not injured. The team is already working to restore broadcasting,” the message on the channel’s website says.

The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) expresses full solidarity with colleagues from Channel 5. It will inform its international partners about the destruction of the capital’s newsroom.
