A press conference at Ukrinform for the National Volunteer Week – 2025 brought together volunteers who, without weapons in their hands, are helping Ukraine resist russian aggression. The organizer is the Order company. The award was presented to Luciano Cartolano for his humanitarian contribution to the implementation of the Partnership For Victory project, initiated by the Ivano-Frankivsk Journalists’ Solidarity Center (JSC) of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU).

The Italian philanthropist and the Anteas Alessandria team provided assistance to displaced journalists, organized treatment for seriously ill children in Italy, supported people with disabilities and athletes, and participated in the reconstruction of destroyed houses in Izium.

The award was presented by Alla Maliyenko, deputy head of the Kyiv organization of the NUJU.

War does not leave our country. But we are not alone. There are good people in the world with us, and they help us. The network of JSCs, created at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, is doing everything possible for people who are forced to remain homeless. We help colleagues adapt to new cities. And our friends from abroad come to our aid.

The NUJU thanks Luciano Cartolano for his humanity, leadership, and support for Ukraine!
