The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) invites you to an online conference on the third anniversary of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine: ‘Ukrainian media during the war: challenges, experience, future.’

The event will be an important platform for discussing the consequences of the war for the Ukrainian media sphere, the challenges faced by journalists, and the lessons that Ukraine can teach the world.

Panels and discussions will focus on the following topics:

Ukrainian media in the crosshairs: how the war is changing the country’s information landscape.

Voices from captivity: stories of journalists in russian captivity.

Mental health of journalists: how to maintain balance in times of war.

Women at the forefront of the media: challenges and opportunities for female journalists.

Stories that change the world: how journalists shape global opinion on the russian-Ukrainian war.

Covering armed conflicts in the age of new technologies: the digital revolution and artificial intelligence in the media.

Participants: international experts, journalists, and representatives of human rights organizations.

Simultaneous translation into Ukrainian and English.

Duration: 2.5 hours

Participation is free after registration.

Date: 13 February 2025, 3:00 p.m.
