Targeted attacks on media infrastructure, which is a civilian object, are a clear violation of international humanitarian law, the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Jan Braathu, is convinced.

“I unreservedly condemn such attacks and call on the russian authorities to stop attacks on media infrastructure and journalists,” he wrote on the social network.

As reported, as a result of the strike on the city of Dnipro overnight into November 18, the building of the regional editorial offices of Suspilne Dnipro, Suspilne Donbas, the regional newsrooms of Ukrainian Radio, the regional hub of the Institute of Mass Information Mediabase Dnipro, and the Youth Media Center were damaged. The TV tower was damaged.
