‘Extremist’ posts on Facebook, calls not to recognize the russian government. And also nationalist views and espionage – this was the reason for the imprisonment indicated in the indictment of human rights activist, public figure, and volunteer Liudmyla Huseinova.
She was able to see this conclusion only after two years of being in captivity.
“They did a linguistic examination of my posts and notes. And this expert recognized that my words were extremist in nature,” says Liudmyla Huseinova.
She spent three years in russian captivity – first in the infamous Izolyatsia concentration camp, and then in Donetsk Remand Prison, together with criminals.
In an interview with the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), Liudmyla Huseinova spoke about her experience and assistance to women who were captured.
