The conference titled Experience of Editorial Teams and Journalists of Sumy Region’s Borderline in War Conditions brought together concerned parties who shared the experience of their difficult work and discussed the problems and needs of media workers in our time.
The stories of colleagues deserve more than just separate materials – books about survival and work during the war. Dramatic stories, risk overcoming, and personal awareness of professional responsibility are all about them.
The First Secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), Lina Kushch, took part in the conversation together with journalists and editors of Sumy publications.
The sub-project called Promoting Exchange of Experience of Editorial Teams and Journalists of Sumy Region’s Borderline in War Conditions is destined to summarize the experience of Sumy journalists and editorial staff. The sub-project is implemented by the Sumy Press Club non-governmental organization with the support of the Department of Journalism and Philology of Sumy State University within the framework of the project Strengthening Media Sustainability In Ukraine, implemented by the Fondation Hirondelle (Switzerland) and Institute for Regional Media and Information (IRMI, Ukraine). It is funded by the Swiss Solidarity Foundation.
