Well-known photojournalist Yan Dobronosov says that previously, he was not interested in what the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) was doing. But when he saw how the Union supported colleagues from the occupied and de-occupied territories, he began to monitor its activities and wanted to express his respect.
While receiving the tourniquets, Yan Dobronosov said this to the NUJU President, Sergiy Tomilenko.
“You help by providing equipment; that’s important. But I am more impressed by the fact that you help our colleagues in difficult times. Once, when I received a camera from you, I did not fully know what it was. Time passed, I read everything that was happening, and I started [to be interested in activities], to write comments. I don’t usually write comments when I don’t want to.”
Thank you so much for what you do. Not for the equipment but specifically for the support of our colleagues in the occupied and de-occupied territories. I say this from the bottom of my heart,” said the photojournalist addressing the NUJU team.
We thank all our colleagues who continue to work and show the world the truth about Ukraine, among other things, through photos.
