The Ivano-Frankivsk Journalists’ Solidarity Center of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) hosted a meeting with first-year students of the Department of Journalism, Advertising, and Public Relations from King Danylo University. The students got acquainted with the work of the Center.
For almost two hours, JSC employees talked with future journalists about the initiative of the NUJU to create such Centers operating in Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Chernivtsi since April 2022, and also in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia since last July. They also learned about the activities of the regional journalistic center.
Among the first-year students were residents of the eastern regions, so they were especially interested in hearing about how the JSC helped colleagues specifically from their cities.
In informal communication, they discussed current issues in the media sphere and shared stories from their professional activities. Having become interested in the work, the students expressed their desire to join various activities of the JSC and the regional journalistic center.
Call the Ivano-Frankivsk JSC at 066 677 0726 (Viktoriya Plakhta, the Ivano-Frankivsk JSC coordinator). The Center’s address is 25 Sichovykh Striltsiv Street.
