Today, Ukrainian media has a feminine face. From the first days of the full-scale war, female journalists have taken on roles that were previously mostly performed by men. They work on the front lines, head newsrooms, make difficult decisions, lead teams, and document war crimes.

Their voices are louder, and their impact on society is becoming even more significant. At the same time, there is an invisible tension behind the scenes of each report. More than 70% of requests for psychological assistance in the media sector come from women.

The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) is always there – with protection programs, professional development opportunities, and friendly support. Thank you, indomitable media women of Ukraine! You are not just witnesses to history. You are its authors!
