Aziz Azizov and Rustem Osmanov, as well as activists Memet Liumanov and Mustafa Abduramanov, were taken to Remand Prison-1 in Rostov-on-Don, russia. Previously, they were kept in Remand Prison-2 of Simferopol, Crimea.

This has been reported by Crimean Solidarity.

Crimean journalists and activists were taken for further transfer on November 5. Russia accuses them in the case of the “sixth Bakhchisarai” group. The first court hearing is scheduled at the Southern District Military Court for November 25.

“Usually, every Friday, we received letters from the Simferopol pre-trial detention center from our husbands. On one of these Fridays, we did not obtain any letters. Then, we understood that they are being transferred,” said Rustem Osmanov‘s wife, Elmaz.

The “case” was launched on March 5 after searches of the homes of ten Crimean Tatars in the Bakhchysarai and Dzhankoi Districts of Crimea. On the same day, the court sent journalists and activists to the Remand Prison. Among the detainees are parents of large families.
