The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) invites journalists and media workers to participate in the webinar titled Secrets Of Successful Application: How Regional Media Can Increase Chances Of Success In Competitions, to be held on the Zoom platform on August 31 at 2 p.m.

The NUJU, NUJU’s Journalists’ Solidarity Centers (JSC), in partnership with Fondation Hirondelle and the International Institute for Regional Media and Information (IRMI, Ukraine), invite publishers, editors, and journalists of local media from all regions of Ukraine to participate in the webinar.

In the conditions of war, when traditional sources of income for many media are unavailable or have significantly lost weight, donor support of international partners in the form of tenders, grants, and scholarships becomes extremely important. After summarizing the experience of working on the jury of a number of creative competitions in 2022-2023, the webinar speaker will share with representatives of local media specific tips that will help them increase their chances of success, strengthening their economic sustainability.

Speaker: Vitalii Holubev, media expert/ NUJU Secretary/founder of the School of Universal Journalism and the all-Ukrainian contest I Am A Journalist!/author of six books on effective communications.

 

Webinar participants will learn:

  • How to be more convincing in their applications: tips and examples
  • Factors that increase the chances of a positive expert decision when considering the application forms of journalists and editors
  • Life hacks from the author’s experience: behind the scenes of the jury of creative competitions and scholarship programs
