Due to the missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, carried out by the Russians on the morning of July 31, the apartment of the Pershyi Kryvorizkyi’s journalist, Olena Smolina, was damaged.

In a comment to the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) information service, Olena Smolina said that she woke up from the first explosion. The second thundered almost immediately.

“We heard a whistle and saw a flash of fire in the window. And then there was an explosion. The windows in our apartment blew out,” says the journalist.

The apartment, in particular the children’s room, is littered with debris from broken windows. Fortunately, the children were not injured, as they were not at home at the time.

The NUJU demands a war crimes tribunal against Russia! On our part, we promise to support our colleague financially.
