During the trip to the Donetsk Region, the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) delegation, led by the President of the Union, Sergiy Tomilenko, handed a Volkswagen Transporter T5 van over to the company of snipers. The van was bought by the NUJU in Lithuania with the funds collected by the journalist community.

The fighters expressed gratitude to everyone for their help and support.

In addition, thanks to its partners, the Union gave the soldiers a generator and various goodies.

We want to thank again to everyone who made this joint venture possible!

The well-known volunteer journalist Viktoriya Hamaza; 10-year-old checkers vice-champion of Ukraine (2022) Tetiana Portianko; Ukrainian Dusha [Ukrainian Soul] charity fund; IOWA for Ukrainians; and the caring journalistic community joined the fundraising campaign. The Lithuanian Union of Journalists also helped in organizing the purchase of the car.

The Union is further approached by the military. So, the NUJU is studying the requests and will soon announce a new fundraising campaign.
