Once again, the Ukrainian Food Banks Federation significantly supports Ukrainian journalists.
This time, ten sets were received by the Kyiv organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) and the central office of the Union.
The aid was distributed immediately because, with the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the number of forcibly displaced persons in the capital increased significantly.
Media workers from the Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk Regions, and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea received the kits.
Valeriya Muskharina, a student from Sloviyansk, says that such support is important because it is extremely difficult to survive on a small scholarship in the capital.
People with special needs note that they will receive insignificant pensions, and it is not possible to immediately allocate one and a half thousand hryvnias for the purchase of hygiene products. And this is a significant help.
Mykola Semena, the secretary of the Union, was touched by the attention. After all, such support for members of the Union is primarily about the organization’s care and concern for the fate of colleagues who bravely stand up for the protection of freedom of speech in Ukraine in its most difficult times.
The NUJU thanks a reliable partner for the humanitarian aid provided and congratulates the Ukrainian Food Banks Federation on its second anniversary.
