Tragic news from the Chernihiv-based TV channel, Dytynets: a former video cameraman, serviceman Oleksandr Urvantsev, was killed in the Kharkiv Region while performing a combat mission.

Oleksandr also filmed programs and stories about restoration and reconstruction. Thanks to him, two cool projects, Discover Chernihiv and Kolo Clubs, have been presented.

The colleague was mobilized exactly a year ago and became a UAV operator.

You can take part in collecting funds in support of Oleksandr‘s fiancée:

The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) expresses condolences to everyone who knew and loved Oleksandr Urvantsev.

This is the second heavy loss for the Dytynets TV channel, as in early April 2022, in the village of Yahidne near Chernihiv, Roman Nezhyborets, a video engineer for the channel, was killed while performing his professional duties.
