Volodymyr Mukan was an intelligent and principled person devoted to Motherland, a journalist, and a soldier. The defender was killed in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today he was taken on his last journey.

Volodymyr Mukan graduated from Cherkasy City School 34, then studied philology at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He had the scientific degree of a candidate of philological sciences.

Before the full-scale invasion, he worked as a journalist for various mass media: Znaj.ua, Mainstream, Gazeta.ua, Kraina, etc.

He was also a public relations officer at Ecocars, Electrocars, and the PZU Ukraine insurance company. At the same time, he taught at the State Fiscal Service University of Ukraine in Irpin, Kyiv Region.

In February 2022, he joined the ranks of volunteers, served in various military units, and participated in combat operations at the hottest points of the front.

Recently, he was responsible for moral and psychological support in his unit. Unfortunately, Volodymyr Mukan‘s life was cut short during a combat mission. He will forever remain 35…

Volodymyr Mukan believed that a volunteer is someone ready to resist in the most challenging times. In his opinion, Ukrainians protect not just their territory but their philosophy of life…

The eternal and bright memory of the Son of the Ukrainian Land now he has joined the heavenly army. Condolences to family and friends on the irreparable loss!

According to Cherkasy City Council
