The information front is important, and in order to win on this front, it is essential to combine the efforts of journalists and representatives of the authorities in the fight against enemy propaganda.

This was stated by the President of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), Sergiy Tomilenko, during yesterday’s meeting with the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

Serhii Lysak emphasized that the representatives of the authorities help Ukrainian and international journalists in covering the events taking place in the Dnipropetrovsk Region and the territory of the region and contribute to documenting the crimes of the Russian occupiers.

The parties agreed on close cooperation and interaction between the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration on the one hand and the NUJU and the Dnipro Journalists’ Solidarity Center on the other.

Besides, Sergiy Tomilenko handed over to the head of the Administration copies of the newspapers revived in the de-occupied and front-line territories and a special issue of the Union called We Are From Ukraine! The NUJU facilitated the revival of the publications.

As earlier reported, a delegation of the NUJU, headed by its President Sergiy Tomilenko, is on a working visit to the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk Regions. In particular, it visited the front-line town of Orikhiv. It held meetings with the journalists and teams of the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro Journalists’ Solidarity Centers, heads of regional military administrations, and rescue workers.
