The apartment of a Sumy journalist/lecturer at the Department of Journalism and Philology of Sumy State University/NUJU member Raisa Stoyan was damaged as a result of today’s russian strike on the city.

Suspilne.Sumy reports the death of four people and the hospitalization of five, three of whom are in serious condition. Five apartments were destroyed.

“It really happened… It was my house…,” Raisa wrote on a social network.

The head of the regional organization of the Union/head of the department where Raisa Stoyan works, Volodymyr Sadivnychyi, told the NUJU that, fortunately, Raisa was not in the apartment on the day of the strike.

The extent of the damage is being assessed.
