As a result of a missile strike on Kyiv on April 24, the apartment of journalist, media manager, and lecturer at the Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Dmytro Telenkov, was damaged.

The house is located only 50-100 meters from the epicenter of the explosion — the five-story building where people were killed.

“The powerful blast wave damaged all the windows and frames in the apartment, and the doors of two balconies were knocked out. The entire apartment was covered in glass fragments. By the evening, the consequences of the impact were cleaned up, and the damage was covered with film,” he said in a comment to the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU).

At the time of the shelling, Dmytro Telenkov’s wife’s mother was in the apartment. Fortunately, she was not injured.
