Thanks to cooperation with Ukrainian Media Fund and Gazeta Wyborcza Foundation, NUJU was able to financially
support more than 40 Ukrainian newsrooms for a total amount of more than 80,000 EUR.
NUJU, in cooperation with Free Press Unlimited, provided direct emergency financial assistance to 170 Ukrainian journalists in the first months of the full-scale war.
Justice for Journalists Foundation became one of the first partners that responded immediately in the first days of full-scale war and began allocating extra funds to emergency protective components for Ukrainian journalists.
‘’We thank our partners, foreign unions, associations and NGOs for their constant support and solidarity with Ukrainian journalists,’’ said the NUJU President, Sergiy Tomilenko.
National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), according to its Statute, it is a national all-Ukrainian organization a creative union uniting journalists and other media workers.
