The President of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), Sergiy Tomilenko, met with Mubariz Aslanov, a journalist from the REPORT publication and Baku TV from Azerbaijan, at the Kyiv Journalists’ Solidarity Center (JSC).

Mubariz Aslanov said that since the beginning of the full-scale war, he had stayed in Kyiv all the time in order to show his country the truth about Russian aggression against Ukraine. Currently, as a war correspondent, he constantly travels to the front and shoots materials about military operations in Ukraine.

Sergiy Tomilenko thanked his colleague and talked about the Union‘s projects and the help it provides to Ukrainian and international journalists in the JSC in the regions.

We agreed to continue close cooperation in order to provide high-quality coverage of the war in Ukraine for audiences in Azerbaijan, the South Caucasus, and Turkiye.
