The President of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), Sergiy Tomilenko, its First Secretary, Lina Kushch, and the entire active staff of the Union invite colleagues, friends, and partners to attend a photo exhibition called Ukraine: Journalists on the Front to be held at a Kyiv metro station.
The NUJU dedicates the exhibition to Journalist’s Day. It will be held at the lobby of the Kyiv metro station Zoloti Vorota [Golden Gate] today, June 2, from 12 p.m.
Unique footage of how journalists work on the front line will be presented. These will be pictures from Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Kherson, Chornobayivka, and other hot spots.
In addition, the exhibition will present information about media workers killed as a result of the Russian aggression, photos of media people persecuted by the Russian authorities in Crimea, as well as of the captured journalist Dmytro Khyliuk. There will also be information about newspapers revived in the de-occupied and front-line territories with the assistance of NUJU and its international partners.
