The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) has become a member of the Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD)

“The NUJU focuses on the safety of journalists, the viability of mass media, the recovery of local media in the occupied and front-line territories, as well as the access of Ukrainian and global audiences to objective information about the war in Ukraine,” the GFMD said in a statement.

The GFMD welcomed eleven new members. The organization also noted that thanks to such forward-looking unity and cooperation, intensified work on the positive impact on the global media landscape will continue.
