Commemorating the start of the co-chair of the organizing committee of the festival, the head of the regional organization of the NUJU, Volodymyr Sadivnychyi, noted that the Media World Leads To The Universe festival is designed to maximally involve children in work – mental and intellectual activity, and this works better than dozens of psychologists.
“Due to the war, the nature of the festival has changed somewhat: earlier, the major emphasis was on collective work on school media; today, it is mostly about individual creative work of schoolchildren,” emphasized the head of the Sumy Press Club NGO / associate professor of the department of journalism and philology of Sumy State University / honored journalist of Ukraine / contact person of the festival organizing committee and co-chairman of the competition jury, Alla Fedoryna. “Yes, there was Covid, the war is going on, and working with schoolchildren in an online format takes away many opportunities for collective work. But there were, are, and will be a teacher and a talented student who can work on the development of a child’s creative abilities.”
