During a board meeting of the Kirovohrad regional organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), some amendments to the Law of Ukraine On Media and the work of the media during martial law were discussed.

Besides, Yuliya Sabaieva, a displaced journalist from the Luhansk Region, who has now found shelter in Kropyvnytskyi, has received a laptop from the NUJU. She will need this modern tool in her daily work. Currently, she actively works remotely for one of the popular Internet resources.

It was not without a surprise: during the meeting, Yuliya Sabaieva met with Halyna Shevchenko, the editor of Oleksandrivka newspaper Vpered. Halyna has been helping the displaced woman since March 2022. So, the meeting was very emotional.

The NUJU also handed over awards to Iryna Balashova and Yurii Yarovyi.
