On July 6, a missile attack on Lviv injured 37 people and killed four, including the family of Volodymyr Sadovyi, a Lviv journalist from the Varta media.

RBC-Ukraine writes about this with a link to the Facebook page of Volodymyr’s colleague, Ihor Zinkevych.

“Anastasiya Seniv and her mother, Miroslava Sadova, were killed. They are the family of Volodymyr Sadovyi, his sister and mother!” Zinkevych writes.

According to him, an enemy missile hit the house where they lived.

Journalist Volodymyr Sadovyi also lost his home and everything in it.

Those willing to join in helping the victims can use the following details:

  • Monobank: 5375 4114 0970 7481

At the same time, during the missile attack on Lviv, Glavcom‘s political columnist Pavlo Vuiets and his family stayed miraculously unharmed.

The house in which the couple lived during the war is located on Stryiska Street in Lviv. It was there that the occupiers hit on the night of July 6. Journalist Pavlo Vuiets, his wife, and his school-age son left the apartment a few minutes before the Russian missile hit. A timely decision to descend into the bomb shelter saved their lives, Glavcom reports. The apartment in which Pavlo and Nataliya lived was completely destroyed. A car parked next to the house was also destroyed.

It should be noted that Pavlo Vuiets has been working as a journalist for Glavcom since the publication was founded. His wife, Nataliya Sokyrchuk, also worked as a correspondent.

The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) expresses its sincere condolences to colleague Volodymyr Sadovyi.

We also express our solidarity with the journalist couple Pavel and Nataliya.

According to the President of the NUJU, Sergiy Tomilenko, the Union will provide financial support to its colleagues and inform international partners. We demand a tribunal against Russia for war crimes!
