On May 7, a military serviceman and former editor-in-chief of the Pravyi Postup publication, Oleksandr Mashlai, was killed while performing a combat mission on the Avdiyivka Axis.

This is reported by the Parliamentary Committee on Freedom of Speech.

Oleksandr grew up in Plast, was an activist in the Rivne and Volyn Regions, a member of the Youth Nationalist Congress in 2004 – and co-coordinator of the PORA (“black”) civic campaign in the Rivne Region. Since 2005, a member of the National Alliance non-governmental organization. He was the organizer and co-organizer of patriotic youth camps, field games, and events.

At the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, he went to the front as a volunteer.

Oleksandr is survived by his wife and two sons.

We express our condolences to Oleksandr’s family and friends. Eternal glory to the Hero!
