Polish journalist / founder of the portal Nasze Kielce Krzysztof Gożelak died the death of the brave.

According to the publication titled Scyzoryk się otwiera, Krzysztof was 45 years old. Almost two years ago, he decided to go to Ukraine to fight with the russian aggressor.

He was survived by his mother, father, brother, and daughter in Kielce.

“He was a journalist, of whom there are few. Unwavering and incorruptible, he dug into the truth to the end. He knew how to investigate the topics of abuse of power in Kielce, the county, and the province himself. And at the highest levels,” colleagues write about Krzysztof. “For him, the truth was the highest good. Sometimes, he ate only oatmeal and water because he had no money. At the same time, he refused to accept advertising from corrupt politicians. He refused to accept help, only sometimes allowed himself to be invited to coffee and chicken at KFC….”

Krzysztof will be buried in Ukraine.

A fellow journalist loved the mountains; trips to the Tatra Mountains were a rest for him in difficult moments.

The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Krzysztof Gożelak. May the bright memory of the Hero…
