Bohdan Zayats, an officer, defender, and former journalist at Novyi Chernihiv TV channel, killed at the front

Bohdan Zayats was killed as a result of an enemy attack on the positions of our defenders on January 30. Since then, his family, friends, and colleagues have been unaware of the fate of the soldier. Confirmation was received the other day, the publication reports.

The media worker was mobilized in September 2023 from the position of deputy head of the TV news newsroom.

According to the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, the occupiers have killed at least 127 media workers.
