The Russians shelled the area of the Antonivskyi Bridge in the Kherson Region. As a result, a foreign press representative was injured, wrote the Head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak.

The Italian publication La Repubblica reported that correspondent Corrado Zunino was wounded.

Colleagues of the wounded informed that he was provided with first aid and hospitalized with a shoulder wound.

There is still no official information about the condition of the Ukrainian fixer who accompanied the Italian correspondent. However, the information disseminated by the Italian publication raises concerns about his fate.

Corrado Zunino wrote on Twitter: “On a trip from Kherson to Odesa. I’m fine, I have a wound on my right shoulder. It is from the bullet that hit my great friend Bohdan… Endless pain. I had a jacket that said ‘Press.’”

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, a civilian was killed, and a foreign journalist was wounded due to the shelling of the Antonivskyi Bridge in the Kherson Region. An investigation is underway.

The NUJU contacted sources in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the Kherson Regional Military Administration, in the South Operational Command; however, there is no other official information at the moment.
