Emergency and rescue operations have been completed in Zaporizhzhia after airstrikes carried out by russian troops on November 7. As a result of the attack on the city, ten people were killed, including one child; 41 people were injured, including four children.
On November 8, a Day of Mourning was declared in the city.
Journalists from local and all-Ukrainian media worked at the site of the flight for two days to show the consequences of the russian attack.
“Recently, Zaporizhzhia has been suffering greatly from the strikes of guided aerial bombs. Unfortunately, for journalists, this is also a great burden and stress, but you need to pull yourself together and turn on professionalism. You have to put emotions aside and work. At the same time, you need to respond to alarms because you cannot forget that you also need to protect yourself. The enemy is destroying civilian structures and repeatedly striking the same objects. Our work is very important because we have to show what the enemy is doing. People are being killed every day, and the whole world should know about all these atrocities committed by russia,” notes Olena Kaptiukh, a journalist for the TV channel We Are Ukraine.
